MTF-SYNC: Improving Crypto Setups with Seven-Indicator Multi-Timeframe Confluence

A signal may look convincing on one timeframe and lose relevance when the higher-timeframe structure is considered. MTF-SYNC groups seven confirmations into a multi-timeframe reading and separates five priority structure and location criteria from two timing filters.

The MTF-SYNC principle

MTF-SYNC looks for LONG or SHORT configurations using CHOCH, liquidity sweeps, Order Block proximity, wick ratio, volume, range regime and candle direction.

SCALPING mode uses M1, M5 and M15. SWING mode uses H1, H4 and D1. Results are updated in real time and display the LONG or SHORT score together with the status of all seven confirmations.

Understanding the 5 + 2 logic

The first five indicators have priority: they describe structure, liquidity, location and participation. The final two confirm timing.

This hierarchy prevents a directional candle from being treated as equivalent to a structural change. A setup may have favorable timing without sufficient foundations, or solid structure without a confirmed trigger.

The seven LONG confirmations

CHOCH

A bullish CHOCH signals an upward structural change. It becomes more relevant after a liquidity grab and near a demand area.

Sweep Low

A Sweep Low is a liquidity grab below the lows. It highlights a possible rebound without guaranteeing re-entry into the prior range.

Proximity OB

Proximity to a bullish Order Block locates the setup near a demand zone. Its Fresh, Touched or Mitigated status must be checked.

Lower Wick Ratio

A significant lower wick reflects rejection of lower prices, but remains insufficient without coherent structure and location.

Volume BUY

Buyer volume confirms participation and helps distinguish a supported reaction from a weak rebound.

In Range Regime

This filter checks whether price occupies a favorable position within its range rather than an already overextended area.

Candle Direction

Bullish candle direction confirms timing once the priority criteria are already present.

Reading a SHORT setup

The SHORT model looks for a bearish CHOCH, Sweep High, proximity to a supply zone, upper wick, SELL volume, an unfavorable range position and a bearish candle.

Active confirmations appear in red. Most of the first five should be confirmed to form a solid setup; the last two refine timing.

How to use it in practice

A swing trader can use D1 for context, H4 for structure and H1 for the trigger. A scalper can begin on M15 and refine the reading on M5 or M1.

Read the five priority confirmations before the two timing filters. If only range regime and candle direction are confirmed, structure remains insufficient. If four or five priority criteria are active while timing is gray, the setup can remain under observation.

Combined-reading examples

In a conditional LONG example, a Sweep Low occurs near a bullish OB, followed by a bullish CHOCH, lower wick and BUY volume. A favorable regime and bullish candle then complete the timing.

SMC-FIBO can confirm location when the reaction occurs in a FAST or GOLDEN zone with a bullish FVG. High/Low can show that a sweep occurred around a PDL or PWL.

For a SHORT, a Sweep High near supply, followed by bearish CHOCH, upper wick and SELL volume, builds the core scenario. 4D Market Trigger can then check LEFT conflicts and extension.

Common mistakes to avoid

Giving all seven criteria equal weight despite the 5 + 2 logic.

Treating a sweep as an automatic reversal.

Ignoring the timeframe and reading M1 microstructure as a broad trend.

Using an Order Block without checking its status.

Mentally filling in missing confirmations when the scanner describes an uncertain market.

MTF-SYNC turns scattered signals into a hierarchical reading. The first five criteria build the setup and the final two assess timing. Combined with SMC-FIBO zones, High/Low and 4D Market Trigger controls, it helps maintain a structured multi-timeframe analysis.
